What I'd like you to do in this section is to think about what you (as the teacher) need to see from the student (as the learner) in order for you to believe they understand the standard.
\nEx: Standard is Student will understand how to set a table for a three course meal.
\n
\nYou brainstorm demonstrations might include:
\nStudent sets a table for the meal given the necessary dishes.
\nStudent can draw a diagram of a properly set table.
\nStudent makes a PowerPoint\/video\/pamphlet\/ etc tutorial teaching others how to set a table.
\nStudent corrects a picture of a table set incorrectly.
\nthere are other....
\n
\nThe point is, you can be given a variety of evidence that tells you the student has mastered the standard. Your rubric criteria, and instructional activities will be based on the demonstrations your choose to accept from students.
\n
\nSo think about what you want them to produce or do for you first, then relate that to providing experiences and practice time for them to learn it.
\n
\nHope that helps.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]},{"id":"27604187","dateCreated":"1285605220","smartDate":"Sep 27, 2010","userCreated":{"username":"StanFreeda","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/StanFreeda","imageUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/pic\/1337868060\/StanFreeda-lg.jpg"},"monitored":false,"locked":false,"links":{"self":"https:\/\/hinsdalehybrid2010.wikispaces.com\/share\/view\/27604187"},"dateDigested":1531977661,"startDate":null,"sharedType":"discussion","title":"survey gizmo","description":"Joe, I removed the survey gizmo from the page because it was replacing your page with a full page log in to the survey. We would not be able to see your page because we kept getting kicked out of it.
\nLet me know what you were trying to do, and I'll see if there is a way to do it. It could be that we just needed to open the survey in a new page, so we could still see the old page.

\nLet me know what you need.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]},{"id":"27439239","dateCreated":"1285250051","smartDate":"Sep 23, 2010","userCreated":{"username":"StanFreeda","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/StanFreeda","imageUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/pic\/1337868060\/StanFreeda-lg.jpg"},"monitored":false,"locked":false,"links":{"self":"https:\/\/hinsdalehybrid2010.wikispaces.com\/share\/view\/27439239"},"dateDigested":1531977661,"startDate":null,"sharedType":"discussion","title":"Standards in the template","description":"I know it might be a pain in the neck, but you should put the language from the standard in the template, rather than the number. It makes it easier for others to read and see your connections to criteria and evidence you seek, if we know what the standard is. Otherwise, we have to go to the standards and work back and forth between two documents. That's not the best way to go.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]}],"more":false},"comments":[]},"http":{"code":200,"status":"OK"},"redirectUrl":null,"javascript":null,"notices":{"warning":[],"error":[],"info":[],"success":[]}}
